Hello! I’m Gabriella Kovács, PCC, an internationally certified language coach, business communication trainer and career coach, with a wealth of experience in the field. With a background in education and a passion for empowering others, I specialize in training language teachers while maintaining a transparent approach to communication in all aspects of my work.
My journey began with receiving diplomas from ELTE University, Budapest, (B.Ed., M.A.) followed by extensive work with secondary school and college students. Over time, my focus shifted towards company training, drawn by the communication challenges faced by participants. This led me to discover my passion for language and communication coaching, culminating in receiving ICF ACC certification in 2017 and subsequently achieving PCC status in 2021. Continuously expanding my expertise, I stay updated with the latest developments through webinars, conferences, and extensive reading in language teaching, training, communication, intercultural, and coaching themes. I currently run an ICF-accredited programme for ILCA and have broadened my scope to embrace career coaching also.
I have two primary focus areas: supporting language teachers and providing tailored training and workshops for clients in Hungary and internationally. My dedication to supporting language teachers extends to collaborating with various tertiary educational institutions, developing training programs, and delivering interactive workshops and talks at professional conferences.
As the co-founder of the International Language Coaching Association (ILCA), I aim to elevate the standards of language coaching and provide professional support for language teachers, trainers, coaches, and clients worldwide. Together with my co-founder and board members, I spearhead initiatives such as hosting The International Language Coaching Conference to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange within the language coaching community.
My dedication to my craft has been recognized, earning me a place among the Top Language Coaches by the Coach Foundation. My recent achievements include the publication of my book, “A Comprehensive Language Coaching Handbook,” and organizing successful events such as book launches and conferences, contributing to the advancement of language coaching practices.
